WHO WE ARE
Mario José Paz arrived in the village of Armação dos Búzios in 1978 for a 10-day vacation that has now lasted more than 40 years. With the inn up and running, Mario and Ana founded the Gran Cine Bardot in 1994 and have since produced the Búzios Film Festival, putting Búzios on the map of the international film circuit.

LOCAL CULTURE
In addition to creating and sponsoring the Gran Cine Bardot , Vila do Mar made possible the sculptures of Brigitte Bardot and the 3 Fishermen on Orla Bardot , the construction of the building that houses the Zanine School of Arts and Crafts , the renovation of the Azul e Branco warehouse where the Circus School operates, and the construction of the Cine Teatro da Rasa.
Our restaurant follows the same tradition as the inn, with a cuisine that blends Brazilian flavors with some South American influences, creating handcrafted dishes of exceptional taste.
